hey!!!!I'm back from Cambodia!!it was awesome man....so so so fun.....i loved every part of it...especially the children....
day 1-We reached the airport....and were welcomed by some of the children...some of them actually remembered me!!..i couldn't believe my ears ...how i love them..... ..we reached the centre only to find smiling faces of the children....so full of warmth and love....
daY 2- we led praise and worship in the morning and later went to a church nearby....it was great...there were ppl of different nationalities...all worshipping together...then..we went shopping!!!!...at the central market (didn't buy much though)..h.ehe...oh yeah...we also had "tekolak"..a mixed fruit sort of drink....it was so so so wonderful....wah!!!!!!!hehe..we then went hom to fellowship with the children...i luv them so much...
day3-we cleaned the garage in the morning after breakfast....the children are just wonderful....we finished cleaning in like just two hours....the children helped without being told without complaining or murmuring... sometimes i just feel like i have been taking for granted the things i have...we played with the children in the afternoon again....so fun!!! .i luv them so much...
day4...wah...cannot remember...supposed to finish cleaning the garage...btu we had already finished the day before...so we just did a lil cleanup....later....wejust spent time with the kids again...at night we had cg with the older ones....i tool grade ten..they rock!!!13 wonderful teenagers....all different and unique in their own way....we had bible study n discussions....they are just so grounded in the word of God....they can speak amazing english as well....wah!!
day 5-we went to a local church nearby....we planned workshops for the teens nearby.....they are just so marvellous....they treated us so well... i felt so uncomfortable being treated so well..after all we are all one n equal ....we leared many new things from them as well and played fun games...late we just spent time with the children there.....i just felt so blessed by them...all the time...they were pouring out their love to us...
DaY 5- we went to see the village nearby...to do so..we had to pass by about 2-3 km of "sawah padi"...i sat on the bike and it was just cool... no helmet....nothing...haha....just great..the wind just blew n blew....i felt so free!!!i saw so many poor children....my heart just broke.... pray that God will bless them....:)
day 6- we went to Phnom penh....to shop!!wah i bought so many things man....wah...we ate ice cream in the coconut....so nice...(yum yum)..i felt so sad...hehe..coz that day was the last day....and we had to leave the next day ....sigh....we then went home...n spent the rest of our time with the children there.....i luv them so much n miss them so so much...
one day......i hope to go back again....n be blessed as well as bless the children there again...cheers...
